Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, George Kelley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leonnis Asskickus! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asskickus closes the distance and pushes Kelley back into the cage. Kelley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Asskickus uses from the top position. Kelley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kelley is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Asskickus advances to half guard. Kelley wants to improve his position but Asskickus is controlling well.
Asskickus is trying to work for a kimura but Kelley is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Asskickus is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kelley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Asskickus stands up and beckons Kelley to join him on the feet. Kelley shoots in for a double leg but Asskickus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Asskickus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kelley on his heels. He'll look to pass Kelley's guard now, I'm sure. Asskickus stands and steps away. Kelley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Asskickus dives in and scores a takedown into Kelley's guard. Kelley throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kelley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Asskickus defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Asskickus looking to sit in guard and control but Kelley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kelley trying to control but Asskickus is working from the bottom. Asskickus wants to sweep here but Kelley controlling him for the moment. Asskickus is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kelley wants to stand but Asskickus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Asskickus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kelley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kelley content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kelley lands a couple of digs. Asskickus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kelley is one step ahead there. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kelley wants to stand but Asskickus has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Asskickus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kelley is aware though and is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kelley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Asskickus, up you get! Asskickus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Asskickus slaps away a takedown attempt from Kelley, before circling back to the center of the mat. Asskickus moves into range and clinches up with Kelley. Asskickus has clasped his hands together around Kelley's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kelley managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Asskickus.
Kelley manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Asskickus sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kelley defending well though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leonnis Asskickus dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kelley looking to score a takedown here. Asskickus is defending well but Kelley drives through and ends up in Asskickus's guard. Asskickus manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Asskickus breaks from the clinch.
Kelley fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Asskickus looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kelley gets caught flat footed, as Asskickus shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kelley pushes Asskickus off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Leonnis Asskickus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Asskickus has Kelley up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Asskickus gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kelley regains guard.
Kelley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Asskickus is aware though and is defending well. Asskickus trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kelley pulls Asskickus in to control the position. Kelley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Asskickus is one step ahead there. Kelley pulls Asskickus in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelley is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kelley is adopting a defensive guard. Kelley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Asskickus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kelley is trying to control the position but Asskickus postures up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kelley rushes Asskickus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Asskickus ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Asskickus no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kelley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Kelley is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Asskickus is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Asskickus has escaped and now he's on top!
Asskickus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kelley is trying to control the position but Asskickus postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Asskickus passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kelley is letting Asskickus control him for a moment. Kelley is trying to control Asskickus's posture but Asskickus avoids it. Asskickus is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kelley has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kelley is not content to let Asskickus control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leonnis Asskickus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Asskickus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kelley, pushing him back against the cage. Kelley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Asskickus walks away with a smile on his face. Kelley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Asskickus has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kelley breaks the clinch.
Asskickus drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Asskickus looking to pass the guard. Kelley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelley looking for a guillotine here but Asskickus defends easily.
Kelley has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Asskickus trying to control the position from guard on top but Kelley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kelley throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Asskickus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kelley is looking for a triangle but Asskickus pushes his legs off easily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Asskickus has Kelley up against the cage in a clinch.
Asskickus gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kelley regains guard.
Kelley wants to get back to his feet but Asskickus passes into half guard.
Asskickus seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Asskickus is trying to control the action in half guard but Kelley is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Asskickus is thwarting Kelley's attempts to control the position. Kelley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Asskickus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kelley's head. Asskickus stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Kelley has Asskickus up against the cage in a clinch.
Asskickus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kelley drops down looking for a counter takedown but Asskickus sprawls and moves away. Asskickus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kelley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kelley holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Asskickus working away. Kelley gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Kelley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. George Kelley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leonnis Asskickus is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Leonnis Asskickus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Asskickus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
