Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov (ranked 5315 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khabib Nurmagomedov (ranked 5480 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Khabib Nurmagomedov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Khabib Nurmagomedov! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter B clinches up against the cage. Fighter B is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fighter A can't fight it off and eventually Fighter B manages to take the fight to the floor. Fighter A looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fighter B being controlled here momentarily. Fighter B throws an elbow that misses. Fighter A uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter B's guard. Nice move by Fighter A! Fighter B wants to sweep but no luck. Fighter A trying to control the position from guard on top but Fighter B is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B has control of Fighter A's left arm, preventing Fighter A from doing any damage. Fighter A working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fighter B really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fighter A. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head to control his posture. Fighter A trying to control but Fighter B is working from the bottom. Fighter A looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Fighter B tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A won't allow Fighter B to get back to his feet. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fighter A is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Fighter B clinches with his opponent.
Fighter B misses with a knee strike.
Fighter B lands an uppercut. Fighter B is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fighter A can't fight it off and eventually Fighter B manages to take the fight to the floor. Fighter A looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fighter B must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fighter B with a flurry of punches that miss. Fighter B lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Fighter B scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B postures up and lands a big shot to Fighter A's brow. Fighter B distracts Fighter A with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fighter B postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fighter B throws a big right hand that misses. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fighter A is on top in guard.
Fighter A is breathing heavily. Fighter A stopping the sweep attempt from Fighter B. Fighter B is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Fighter B is looking to stand up but Fighter A isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to control from the top but Fighter B keeps moving. Fighter B wants to stand and escape but Fighter A is having none of it. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in to control the position. Fighter B is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Fighter B keeping moving, preventing Fighter A from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khabib Nurmagomedov dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fighter B rushes Fighter A and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fighter B tries for a takedown. No joy.
Fighter B can't break the clinch.
Fighter B gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fighter A regains guard.
Fighter A trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Fighter A is adopting a defensive guard. Khabib Nurmagomedov has got the better of the ground game so far. Fighter B lands a couple of elbows. Fighter B postures up and lands a big shot to Fighter A's brow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is trying to control the position but Fighter B postures up. Fighter B landing some decent shots from guard. Fighter B content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A keeping moving, preventing Fighter B from controlling successfully. Fighter B lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Fighter B is working Fighter A over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Fighter B scoring with some ground and pound.
Fighter A is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fighter A is trying to keep Fighter B in close.
Oh Fighter A is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter B trying to control but Fighter A is working from the bottom. Fighter B connects with a couple of short punches. Fighter B gets to his feet and stands over Fighter A, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Fighter A felt that one! Fighter B unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Fighter A from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khabib Nurmagomedov!
