Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Redfield Wesker (ranked 7207 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan Robinson (ranked 25000 p4p, 678 weight class). Wesker's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Terror. Robinson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by When Nightmare Comes. Duncan Robinson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Robinson tries to avoid it but Wesker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Robinson to the ground. Robinson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Robinson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Wesker shoots in for a double leg but Robinson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Robinson throws a fast counter high kick but Wesker manages to duck under it in time.
Wesker fails with a takedown attempt.

Wesker cracks Robinson with a good jab.
Wesker looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wesker sets himself, and Robinson steps forward looking for the clinch! Wesker avoids it this time.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bone on bone clash there as Robinson blocks the leg kick.
Robinson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wesker defends it well.
Wesker feints a jab promting Robinson to slip. Wesker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Robinson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Duncan Robinson has been cut.
Robinson takes the fight into the clinch.

Wesker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Robinson stuffs the takedown.
Robinson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Robinson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wesker, pushing him back against the cage.
Wesker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Robinson walks into a straight right hand from Wesker.
Wesker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wesker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Robinson clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Robinson is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Robinson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wesker is looking for a takedown.
Robinson putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Wesker in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Robinson is trying to pull guard but Wesker has him pressed against the cage.
Wesker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wesker shoots in looking for a takedown. Robinson tries to sprawl out of it but Wesker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Robinson trying to keep a closed guard but Wesker is proving a slippery customer.
Wesker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robinson on the ground.

Wesker content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Robinson has locked up a guillotine! Robinson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Wesker is holding on here and Robinson must be using up a lot of energy. Wesker has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Robinson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Duncan Robinson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
