Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gustavo Miranda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Hardy! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardy looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Miranda trying to control the position.

Hardy is stalling in the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy won't allow Miranda to get back to his feet. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Miranda keeping full guard, as Hardy tries to pass.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hardy throws a low kick, looking for Miranda's leg but Miranda calmly moves out of range. Hardy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Miranda tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hardy is in Miranda's guard. Hardy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Miranda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy wants to pass the guard but Miranda is keeping the position. Miranda trying to keep a closed guard but Hardy is proving a slippery customer.
Hardy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Miranda trying to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy drives through with a takedown into guard. Hardy is stalling in the full guard. Hardy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Miranda looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hardy is one step ahead there.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Hardy dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Miranda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Miranda checks a low kick from Hardy. Hardy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Miranda wants to stand up but Hardy is controlling him. Hardy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hardy throws a big right hand that misses. Hardy's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miranda is looking to stand up but Hardy isn't so interested in that idea. Hardy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hardy tries to score with a low kick but Miranda moves his leg out of the way. Miranda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hardy pinned against the cage. Hardy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Miranda gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Miranda trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Hardy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Miranda being controlled here, momentarily. Miranda wants to get back to his feet but Hardy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Charlie Hardy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Hardy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miranda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hardy sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Miranda is trying to break the clinch but Hardy is controlling him. Miranda looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hardy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gustavo Miranda has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Charlie Hardy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hardy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miranda quickly recovers to half guard.
