Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilton Odom (ranked 5423 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mean Machine (ranked 5565 p4p, 0 weight class). Mean Machine has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wilton Odom's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wilton Odom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Mean Machine! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machine keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A little jabbing left from Machine on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Machine closes the distance and clinches. Machine breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mean Machine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machine pushes Odom up against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Machine pressing his opponent against the cage. Machine pulls guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine trying to control the position.
Odom will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Odom throws a big right hand that misses. Odom wants to stand and escape but instead Machine has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Machine wants to control from the top but Odom keeps moving. Machine preventing the sweep. Odom striking off his back but it's not causing Machine any problems. Machine trying to control but Odom is working from the bottom. Machine drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Machine jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machine stopping the sweep attempt from Odom. Odom wants to stand and escape but Machine is having none of it. Machine won't allow Odom to sweep him here. Machine trying to control but Odom is working from the bottom. Odom trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Machine won't allow Odom to sweep him here. Machine postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Machine controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Odom has managed to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Odom is fighting off a takedown attempt but Machine is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Odom to the mat. Odom regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Odom is wriggling around but Machine manages to pass to half guard.
Machine is trying to control the action in half guard but Odom is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Odom wants to get back to full guard. Machine wants to control but Odom is keeping him busy. Odom won't allow Machine to pass to mount. Machine performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Machine seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Odom wants to improve his position but Machine is controlling well.
Machine blocks the strikes from Odom.

Odom blocking the ground and pound attempt from Machine. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Odom gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mean Machine dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Odom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Machine swats him away and circles back towards the center. Machine lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Machine gets a takedown into half guard. Odom pushes Machine off and gets back to his feet. Wilton Odom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Machine throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Odom half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Machine rushes Odom and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Machine has Odom pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Machine pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Odom tumbling to the mat - Machine dives into Odom's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Odom tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine wants to control from the top but Odom keeps moving. Machine has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Odom throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Odom is trying to keep Machine in close.
Odom wants to get back to his feet but Machine is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Odom tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Machine seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Machine just misses with a punch to the body.
Odom takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Odom scoring well with a low kick there.
Machine tries to work over Odom's front leg with a kick but Odom checks it. Odom wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Machine gets in close and instigates a clinch. Machine decides to pull guard. Odom wants to stand but Machine is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machine is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Odom wants to stand but Machine has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Machine seems keen to control Odom's posture. Odom has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Machine is proving hard to escape from. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Machine. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Machine working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Odom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Odom is in close to Machine's body, working some short punches and elbows. Odom throws an elbow that misses. Machine uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Odom's guard. Nice move by Machine! Machine advances to half guard. Machine looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Odom with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Machine is thwarting Odom's attempts to control the position. Odom makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Odom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Odom bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Machine's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mean Machine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Odom's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Odom closes the distance and pushes Machine back into the cage. Machine just leaning against Odom, taking a breather. Odom jumps guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Machine decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Odom, up you get! Machine gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine is struggling to control the position. Machine tightens his grip and picks Odom up, before dumping him to the ground. Odom manages to land in guard. Machine sitting in guard, not really doing much. Machine wants to control from the top but Odom keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machine forces his way into half guard. Odom is pressing down on Machine's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Machine wants to control from the top but Odom keeps moving. Machine drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Machine jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Machine takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Odom has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Machine has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Machine jumps into guard, dragging Odom to the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machine is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Odom is controlling him. Odom wanted to stand there but Machine had control of the position. Machine working a defensive guard here.
Odom is looking to stand up but Machine won't let him. Odom has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Odom trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Machine utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Odom in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Machine managing to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Machine swats away the attempt to clinch by Odom. Machine darts in and clinches Odom up against the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Odom pulls guard. Wilton Odom has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mean Machine is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Machine lands a couple of digs.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mean Machine. Well Machine has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
