Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erland Eliasson (ranked 1555 p4p, 242 weight class) and Adrian Shota (ranked 1686 p4p, 257 weight class). Eliasson comes to the cage accompanied by Radioactive - Imagine Dragons. Shota has chosen Black Panther Theme by Stephen James Taylor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erland Eliasson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, Adrian Shota!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eliasson takes one on the button.
Shota ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Eliasson moves away.
Eliasson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Eliasson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shota.
Shota looks to score with a jab to the body but Eliasson is just out of range.
Eliasson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Shota lands with a nice body punch.
Shota scores with a jab to the jaw.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Shota.
Shota just misses with a punch to the body.
Eliasson slips under a jab.
A swing and a miss from Eliasson.
A low kick from Shota is predictable there
letting Eliasson counter with a right hand.
Shota connects with a jab.
Shota defending well as Eliasson loads up on a big left hand.
We've been informed that Shota has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eliasson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Shota.
Eliasson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Shota throws a body punch but Eliasson moves out of range.
Eliasson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shota. Shota circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Eliasson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shota.
Eliasson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shota throws out a loose jab but Eliasson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shota misses with a left hand
and Eliasson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Adrian Shota seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shota just misses with a punch to the body.
Shota throws an overhand right that lands on Eliasson's shoulder, as Eliasson tries to avoid the shot.
Shota feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Eliasson's calf.
Shota throws a predictable looking body shot
and Eliasson counters with a straight right hand.
Shota throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Eliasson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Shota! Eliasson lets Shota back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Eliasson counters with a stiff right hand.

Eliasson moves away from the strike by Shota.

and Eliasson counters with a nice right hand that sends Shota toppling to the canvas! Shota scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Eliasson finish him?!
Shota is still on wobbly legs! Can Eliasson finish him?

Eliasson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Eliasson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shota finds it's way round the side to connect with Eliasson's head.
Shota seems to have recovered his senses.
Good work by Eliasson as he checks the leg kick.
Shota thuds a left hand into Eliasson's body.
Eliasson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Shota misses with a body shot

and Eliasson counters with a nice right hand that sends Shota toppling to the canvas! Shota scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Eliasson finish him?!
Shota walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Eliasson! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

A very excited looking Erland Eliasson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
