Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moises Baird (ranked 25202 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Voevodin (ranked 5326 p4p, 0 weight class). Oleg Voevodin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Moises Baird! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oleg Voevodin! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baird closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Voevodin did well to prevent Baird getting side control. Voevodin trying to control from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baird throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Baird knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Voevodin on the ground. Baird thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Voevodin's head. Baird decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Voevodin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Baird manages to get to full guard.
Voevodin trying to control the position from guard on top but Baird is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Voevodin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Voevodin stopping the sweep attempt from Baird. Baird has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Voevodin has passed into side control.
Baird is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Voevodin trying to control the position but Baird is working away. Voevodin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Voevodin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Baird tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Voevodin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Baird is trying to work for a sweep but Voevodin has mounted him! Baird is wriggling around trying to escape.
Baird tries to hold on but Voevodin postures up. Voevodin wants to control the pace but Baird is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Voevodin scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Baird?
It looks like Moises Baird has been cut. Baird tries to reverse the position but Voevodin maintains control. Voevodin tries to control but Baird wriggling away. Baird is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Voevodin trying to control but Baird is having none of it. Voevodin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Voevodin working the ground and pound effectively.
Voevodin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Baird is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baird is trying to escape the mount.
Voevodin tries to control but Baird wriggling away. Baird tries to hold on but Voevodin pushes him away. Baird is working to get back to half guard.
Baird could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Voevodin looking to control but Baird is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Baird working to try and regain half guard.
Baird tries to lock up and control but Voevodin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Voevodin wants to control the pace but Baird is squirming around nicely. Baird tries to get back to half guard but can't. Baird might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Baird swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Voevodin landing strikes, looking to finish!
Moises Baird's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Moises Baird's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Oleg Voevodin!
