Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cassius Slay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark MacLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacLeod throws a shot from downtown. Slay moves away and avoids it.
Slay on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Slay rushes MacLeod and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Slay gets through MacLeod's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Slay prevents MacLeod from breaking the clinch.
Slay lands a nice shot to the body.

Slay closes the distance and clinches.
Slay pushes off an throws an elbow but MacLeod leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Slay manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Slay lands a hook that snaps the head of MacLeod backwards.
MacLeod tries to break the clinch but Slay is controlling the position.
Slay digs a right hand underneath MacLeod's ribcage. MacLeod let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Slay works on MacLeod's body with a couple of short punches.

Slay has MacLeod pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Slay pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending MacLeod tumbling to the mat - Slay dives into MacLeod's guard.

MacLeod has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Slay is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for MacLeod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Slay's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
