Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jed Knight (ranked 3410 p4p, 356 weight class) and Alexander Hamilton (ranked 4238 p4p, 411 weight class). Hamilton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Alexander Hamilton. Alexander Hamilton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamilton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Knight swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Knight lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hamilton backwards.
Hamilton blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Hamilton tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Knight swings wildly with an uppercut but Hamilton uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hamilton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Knight walks away with a smile on his face. Hamilton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Knight leaves Hamilton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knight, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
