Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lon Jackson (ranked 25133 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shahadath Karim (ranked 7300 p4p, 0 weight class). Shahadath Karim will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shahadath Karim!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karim drives through with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Karim is just riding it out for now. Jackson eventually gives up the hold.

Jackson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Karim has managed to free his arm - good work.

Jackson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Karim was covering up waiting for the punch and Jackson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
