Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Budimon (ranked 2994 p4p, 311 weight class) and Frank Tyson (ranked 1510 p4p, 173 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Budimon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Tyson! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Budimon fires out a quick counter leg kick but Tyson just manages to avoid it. Tyson looks to land a combination but Budimon avoids it well. Budimon jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Budimon lands the left hand. Budimon throws a head kick that misses. Budimon sends Tyson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Budimon is motioning to the referee to let Tyson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Tyson is rocked!
It looks like Frank Tyson has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A big right from Budimon misses. Tyson is still on wobbly legs! Can Budimon finish him? Budimon thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Tyson if he has to take too many more of those.
Tyson seems to have recovered his senses. Budimon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tyson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Budimon fires out a quick counter leg kick but Tyson just manages to avoid it. Budimon lands a nice shot to the body.
Tyson clinches up against the cage. Tyson tries to break free but Budimon pushes him back against the cage. Tyson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Budimon lands with a left to the head. Tyson has a couple of punches blocked by Budimon.
Tyson breaks from the clinch.
Tyson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Budimon, pushing him back against the cage. Budimon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tyson backwards. Budimon taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Budimon manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Tyson does no damage. Frank Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Budimon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Budimon lands with a shot to the body. Tyson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Budimon counters with a good, hard body kick but Tyson shrugs it off. Budimon clobbers Tyson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A nice leg kick lands there from Budimon. Tyson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Budimon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tyson's sensitive parts. Tyson clinches with his opponent.
Budimon blocks an uppercut.
Tyson is trying to drag Budimon to the mat but Budimon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Budimon doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Budimon lands a shoulder strike. Budimon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tyson backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Budimon lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Tyson misses with a short punch on the inside. Budimon lands with a left to the head. Budimon digs a right hand underneath Tyson's ribcage. Tyson let out a lung full of air as it connected. Tyson pulls guard successfully.
Budimon stays in close to Tyson's body and controls the position. Budimon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Budimon content to stall in guard here. Budimon continues to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Budimon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tyson is keeping the position for now. Budimon stays in close to Tyson's body and controls the position. Budimon pushing down on Tyson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Budimon is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Budimon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tyson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Budimon controlling the action here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Budimon cracks Tyson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nice body punch from Budimon. Budimon throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Jab, jab by Budimon - just one landing. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Budimon, as that shot connected.
Tyson moves in looking to clinch but Budimon pushes him off. Budimon closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Tyson! Budimon dives in looking to finish! Tyson is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Budimon! An out of breath Simon Budimon thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
