Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carlo Horn (ranked 25188 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bird Flyer (ranked 5464 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlo Horn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bird Flyer! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That kick from Flyer tenderised Horn's leg. Horn is trying to keep his angry face on. Flyer moves into the clinch. Horn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Horn moves away from the strike by Flyer. Flyer moves in looking to clinch but Horn pushes him off. Horn keeps the fight on the outside. Flyer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Horn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Flyer throws a head kick but Horn moves out of range.
Flyer tries for a takedown but Horn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flyer throws a low kick but it's checked well by Horn. Horn is looking to counter punch. Horn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Flyer is trying to maintain the position but Horn is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Horn in particular looking to stall. Horn seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Flyer for as long as he can get away with. Horn missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Flyer is trying to get back to full guard. Horn throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Horn tries to pass to full mount but Flyer defends it. Flyer on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Flyer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Horn working over Flyer with some ground and pound. Flyer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Well, if Horn is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Horn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Flyer's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Horn sitting and controlling from the half guard. Flyer trying to control from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Horn slaps away a takedown attempt from Flyer, before circling back to the center of the mat. Horn throwing a counter right hand but Flyer manages to avoid it. Flyer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Horn as he jumps to the side. It looked like Horn was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Carlo Horn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bird Flyer. Flyer tries to clinch but fails miserably and Horn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Horn. Horn's corner is telling him to maintain position. Horn passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flyer can't do much from the bottom here. Horn passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Flyer! Horn takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Horn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Flyer can't escape the position.
Horn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Horn controlling the pace for now. Flyer flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Horn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Flyer wants to try and get back to his feet. Horn raining down hammerfists from mount. Horn lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlo Horn dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Flyer has a takedown stuffed. Flyer shoots in and bounces Horn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Horn is wriggling around but Flyer manages to pass to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horn kicks Flyer off and gets back to his feet. Flyer throws a head kick that misses. Flyer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horn has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Flyer has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Flyer working hard to break the clinch. Horn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Flyer fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Flyer is breathing heavily. Flyer wants to clinch. Horn is looking to counter the offense by Flyer and move into the clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horn avoids the head kick by Flyer.
Horn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Flyer can do to turn this around? Flyer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Carlo Horn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bird Flyer. Horn clinches up against the cage. Horn stops a takedown attempt from Flyer.
Horn jumps guard and drags Flyer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Horn is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Flyer has his hands clasped together but Horn extends and breaks Flyer's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Horn.
