Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trainer Wrestle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Sander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trainer Wrestle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Sander!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sander lands a lovely overhand right.
No luck for Wrestle with that takedown attempt.
Wrestle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sander connects with a single shot there.
Horrible takedown by Wrestle or perhaps it was just good defense by Sander which made him look bad.

Sander lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wrestle backs up against the cage.

Wrestle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sander sprawls well initially but Wrestle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sander doesn't have the hooks in and Wrestle manages to turn into his guard.
Wrestle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wrestle with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sander utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sander wants to stand and escape but Wrestle is having none of it.
Sander is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Wrestle stops Sander from standing up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sander looks to land a combination but Wrestle avoids it well.
Sander tests Wrestle's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Trainer Wrestle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sander misses with a few strikes there.

Sander throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tommy Sander is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sander lands with an uppercut that bounces Wrestle off the cage and back into rage.
Wrestle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Wrestle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Wrestle lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sander hang on?
Wrestle misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Wrestle tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sander tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sander wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Wrestle.
Sander wants to control but Wrestle is having none of it.
Sander is trying desperately to improve position.
Sander is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tommy Sander will probably get the nod.

Sander throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sander fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wrestle manages to avoid it.

Wrestle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sander to the mat! Sander manages to get full guard.
Wrestle throws a strike but Sander rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A left lands for Sander.
Sander throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wrestle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No joy there for Sander, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wrestle shoots for a double leg takedown but Sander sprawls well. He's pushed Wrestle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wrestle tries to clinch but Sander moves out of range.
Sander stuffs the takedown.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sander scores with a hook to the body. Wrestle takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Wrestle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sander's waist but Sander gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wrestle off to one side.

Sander scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Trainer Wrestle has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wrestle takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sander connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tommy Sander showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Wrestle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sander paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sander cracks Wrestle with a right hand to the side of the head.

The crowd cheers as Sander lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wrestle doesn't seem phased though.

Sander tries to bum rush Wrestle with a series of wild strikes but Wrestle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tommy Sander comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
