Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Django Ripa (ranked 1391 p4p, 62 weight class) and Conor McTapper (ranked 2295 p4p, 99 weight class). Ripa comes to the cage accompanied by American Woman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Django Ripa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Conor McTapper! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Ripa swings for the body but McTapper moves out of range.
Ripa misses with a lunging right hand
and Ripa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. McTapper wants to clinch and Ripa counters with a right hand to the body. Ripa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McTapper was well out of range. Poor timing from Ripa. McTapper wants to counter the offense by Ripa and move into the clinch position. McTapper's coach down at London Fighting Acadamy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McTapper's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McTapper shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ripa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ripa keeping moving, preventing McTapper from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. McTapper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McTapper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ripa has control of McTapper's left arm, preventing McTapper from doing any damage. McTapper drops back looking for a leg! Ripa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ripa manages to kick McTapper off! McTapper jumps back into Ripa's guard. Ripa pulls McTapper in to control the position. McTapper trying to control but Ripa is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McTapper is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Ripa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ripa holds on and takes a little breather. McTapper trying to control but Ripa is working from the bottom. McTapper thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ripa keeping moving, preventing McTapper from controlling successfully. Ripa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ripa tries to get out of the position. McTapper is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ripa is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ripa lands with a nice body punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ripa swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McTapper.
It looks like Conor McTapper has been cut. Ripa drops McTapper with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ripa follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
