Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Allen (ranked 3515 p4p, 280 weight class) and Magnus Pulmber (ranked 6028 p4p, 384 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Magnus Pulmber! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pulmber throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Allen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Allen. Allen won't allow Pulmber to sweep him here. Allen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pulmber utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Pulmber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pulmber striking off his back but it's not causing Allen any problems. Allen controlling from the top position. Allen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pulmber working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Allen. Allen is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Allen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pulmber dives on top into guard.
Allen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pulmber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pulmber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen controlling Pulmber's posture. Allen keeping moving, preventing Pulmber from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Allen is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Allen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Allen postures up and lands a big shot to Pulmber's brow. Allen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Pulmber is trying to keep Allen in close.
Allen scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Allen is working Pulmber over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Allen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Allen lands a couple of elbows. Allen scoring with some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pulmber defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Allen. Pulmber has Allen up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Allen managing to control the position. Pulmber trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bruce Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Allen shoots in but Pulmber avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pulmber steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Allen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen misses with a takedown attempt - Pulmber sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Pulmber has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Allen is landing a low percentage of strikes. Pulmber pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bruce Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Allen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Allen preventing the sweep. A close second round but Magnus Pulmber will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Allen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pulmber's head. Allen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pulmber can do to turn this around? Allen is stalling in the full guard.

Allen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Allen with a couple of shots to the head there.
