Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muy Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dalton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Muy Thai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mick Dalton!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalton tries to clinch up but Thai circles away and keeps his distance.
Dalton throws a head kick but Thai moves out of range.
Thai lands a left and a right that sends Dalton crashing to the canvas! Thai dives into mount looking to finish!


It looks like Mick Dalton has been cut.
Thai avoids the attempt from Dalton to control.
Thai looking to control but Dalton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Thai controlling his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dalton's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Thai trying to control but he's not successful this time.
You get the feeling that Dalton really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Thai wants to control the pace but Dalton is squirming around nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Thai avoids the attempt from Dalton to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dalton is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dalton wants to hold on but Thai pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Muy Thai dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mick Dalton's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Thai drives through and clinches with Dalton against the cage.
Thai throws a knee to the head but misses.

Thai manages to break the clinch.
Thai tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice sprawl there from Thai as Dalton shoots in.
Dalton tries to clinch up.
Thai sizes up Dalton with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mick Dalton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dalton closes the distance and pushes Thai back into the cage.
Thai prevents Dalton from breaking the clinch.

Thai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dalton tries to keep at a distance but Thai has taken the fight into the clinch.
Thai lands a knee to the head.

Thai breaks from the clinch.
Dalton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thai takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dalton throws a sloppy head kick

and Thai counters by clinching up.
Dalton is breathing heavily.
Thai lands an elbow inside that Dalton shrugs off.
Dalton wants to get back to striking at distance but Thai won't allow it.

Dalton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thai throws a sloppy head kick and Dalton moves out of range easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thai throws a head kick that misses.
Muy Thai is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A head kick misses from Dalton.
Dalton ducks straight into an uppercut from Thai and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Dalton maanges to regain guard straight away.


That has opened up Mick Dalton's cut even more.
Thai is looking to stand up but Dalton won't let him.
Thai is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dalton wants to stand up but Thai is controlling him.
Thai wants to control from the top but Dalton keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Thai stops Dalton from standing up.
Dalton has a closed guard, preventing Thai from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Thai prevents Dalton from getting back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Thai is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dalton throws a head kick that misses

and Thai moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Muy Thai dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Mick Dalton's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


A head kick lands from Thai that sends Dalton to the canvas. Dalton tries to scramble back to his feet but Thai brings him back down into side control.


The cut above Mick Dalton's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Thai has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Muy Thai is winning the standup battle so far.
Dalton darts in trying to clinch

and Thai counters by clinching up.
Dalton trying to land knees to the body.
Dalton scores with a hook to the body.

Thai's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dalton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dalton clinches but Thai breaks the clinch

and Thai counters with a head kick that drops Dalton!


Mick Dalton's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mick Dalton's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Muy Thai!
