Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Nao (ranked 253 p4p, 10 weight class) and Expendable Crewman V (ranked 1053 p4p, 60 weight class). Nao comes to the cage accompanied by The End. Crewman V comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Warrior song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crewman V thuds his shin into the meat of Nao's side.
Expendable Crewman V seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crewman V scores with a kick to the body.
Crewman V lands a really nice looking cross but Nao seems unphased.

Nao is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Crewman V's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Nao has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Nao pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Crewman V! But no joy.
Nao throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Crewman V misses with the body kick
and Nao counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Crewman V dips to his left and cracks Nao with an uppercut!
Nao looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crewman V bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nao's head.
Nao scores with a shot to the body.
Nao throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Crewman V sees it coming and avoids it easily.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Nao might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

and Nao counters with a nice body kick.

Expendable Crewman V showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Crewman V has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Crewman V lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Crewman V throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Nao throws out a loose jab but Crewman V uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crewman V lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nao closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Crewman V lands a left and a right that send Nao crashing to the mat, dazed. Crewman V thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Nao is rocked!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Crewman V engages and cracks Nao with a massive lead left hook - Nao tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Crewman V is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Expendable Crewman V!
An out of breath Expendable Crewman V thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
