Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Behnder! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Behnder is trying to defend but Martin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Martin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Behnder keeps working. Martin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Behnder controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Martin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Behnder knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martin seems to be working for a kimura but Behnder defends the submission attempt. Behnder controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

Martin looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Martin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Behnder defend it? Martin steps over the head and cranks it - Behnder is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Martin!
