Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bret Collier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Earvander Holyfield! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Collier dives in and grabs Holyfield's left leg, looking for a takedown. Holyfield pushes down on Collier's head and hops out. Earvander Holyfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Collier misses with a hook. Holyfield ducked under it nicely.
Holyfield fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Collier sprawls well initially but Holyfield persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Collier gets back to full guard.
Holyfield wants to control from the top but Collier keeps moving. Holyfield must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Collier keeping full guard, as Holyfield tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Collier working a defensive guard here.
Collier tries to strike from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Collier is trying to control the position but Holyfield postures up. Collier managing to control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Collier not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Holyfield throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Collier tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Holyfield is in Collier's guard. Holyfield sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Holyfield thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Collier keeping full guard, as Holyfield tries to pass. Collier is trying to keep Holyfield in close.
Holyfield trying to control but Collier is working from the bottom. Collier looking to control but Holyfield passes into half guard.
Collier is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Holyfield drops an elbow to the side of Collier's head.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Holyfield trying to mount his opponent but Collier defends it. Collier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Collier wants to get back to full guard. Ground and pound from Holyfield. Collier wants to get back to his feet.
Holyfield slips a nice elbow through Collier's hands, connecting with Collier's forehead. Collier is looking to improve his position.
Collier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Collier wants to control but Holyfield passes into side.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Collier stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Holyfield is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Collier is trying to escape and Holyfield transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Collier is forced to tap! Nice work there by Holyfield! Very nice indeed!
