Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Dangerous Jr (ranked 1585 p4p, 216 weight class) and Evan Payton (ranked 1501 p4p, 204 weight class). Dangerous Jr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is TNT - ACDC. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Dangerous Jr enables Payton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dangerous Jr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Payton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dangerous Jr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dangerous Jr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dangerous Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Payton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dangerous Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Payton's legs - danger averted.
Payton is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Dangerous Jr frees his head nicely. Oh but Payton has switched to an armbar! Dangerous Jr is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
