Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sanitha Muralitharan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muralitharan comes to the cage accompanied by The Sri Lankan National Anthem. Parker has chosen Young as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker shoots in looking for a takedown. Muralitharan tries to sprawl out of it but Parker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Muralitharan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Muralitharan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Parker momentarily.
Muralitharan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Parker doesn't manage to clinch there - Muralitharan circles away.
Parker misses the shot to the body.

Parker gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Parker breaks from the clinch.
Parker shoots in and drives through. Muralitharan sprawls well.
Muralitharan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Parker closes the distance and clinches up with Muralitharan, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes Muralitharan against the cage but Muralitharan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sanitha Muralitharan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Parker.

Parker ducks into an uppercut from Muralitharan and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
