Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Phoenix (ranked 131 p4p, 18 weight class) and Bryan Schaub (ranked 206 p4p, 26 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Schaub.
A quick step to the side and Phoenix tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Phoenix missing with a left hand there. Schaub was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Phoenix keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Schaub uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Phoenix.
Schaub darts in looking for a takedown but Phoenix gets double underhooks and turns Schaub into the cage.
