Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Walker (ranked 3078 p4p, 329 weight class) and TopOf FoodChain (ranked 3062 p4p, 326 weight class). TopOf FoodChain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, TopOf FoodChain! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker throws out a token jab with nothing on it. FoodChain has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Walker is landing a low percentage of strikes. Walker moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. FoodChain closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Walker did well to prevent FoodChain getting side control. Walker is looking to escape. FoodChain seems to be looking for submissions.
FoodChain is trying to control the action in half guard but Walker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. FoodChain is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Walker still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Walker has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! FoodChain tries to buck Walker off but Walker is having none of it. Walker tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. You can see the frustration on FoodChain's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. FoodChain manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. FoodChain moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. FoodChain looking for a guillotine here but Walker defends easily.
FoodChain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Walker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of FoodChain is proving hard to escape from. Walker got a little sloppy there for a moment and FoodChain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walker has managed to get both his arms back between FoodChain's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. FoodChain is looking for a triangle but Walker pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker is looking to stand up but FoodChain won't let him. Walker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for FoodChain on the ground. Walker trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. FoodChain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Walker is aware though and is defending well. FoodChain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Walker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Walker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. FoodChain is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Walker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Walker is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but FoodChain has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Walker is looking to defend but FoodChain has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Walker! FoodChain pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Walker taps out and this one is all over!

A very excited looking TopOf FoodChain made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
