Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mister McNasty (ranked 262 p4p, 38 weight class) and Marky Mark (ranked 1131 p4p, 177 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mister McNasty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marky Mark! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mark misses with a hook. McNasty ducked under it nicely. Mark ducks down and throws a hook to the body. McNasty steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mark. McNasty slips a straight right by Mark. McNasty scores with a decent looking hook. McNasty showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mark.
Marky Mark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mark misses with a hook to the body
and McNasty moves into the clinch. Mark fails to pull guard.
I was talking to McNasty's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Mark throws a head punch that misses. McNasty misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mark tries to break the clinch but McNasty is controlling the position. Mark lands a left hand.
Mark can't find room to land a body shot as McNasty controls the action.
Mark is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McNasty to keep the fight standing. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mark. Mark is trying to force a seperation but McNasty has the dominant position. Mark pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mark throws a wild body kick that McNasty sees coming a mile off. Mark tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. An attempted straight right counter from McNasty misses the target. Mark throws a head kick that misses. McNasty chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Mark digs a right hand into McNasty's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on McNasty's gas tank. Mark tries to circle away but McNasty has him pinned against the cage. McNasty struggles to land a body shot inside as Mark controls his hands.

McNasty digs a right hand underneath Mark's ribcage. Mark let out a lung full of air as it connected. Good body shot from McNasty.
Mark has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. McNasty seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Mark can turn it around. Mark tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Mark throws a head punch that misses. Mark working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A right hook to the body lands for Mark.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mark is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mark misses with a hook from the clinch. Mark tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from McNasty. Mark looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Mark wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. McNasty misses with a body punch.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mark fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Mark looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A short right from Mark on the inside. Mark tries to circle away but McNasty has him pinned against the cage. Mark's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mark throws a quick head kick that skims the top of McNasty's head. McNasty connects with an inside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McNasty dodges the punch combination from Mark.
An attempted straight right counter from McNasty misses the target. A head kick misses from Mark. McNasty fires out a quick counter leg kick but Mark just manages to avoid it. Mark's corner calls for a 1-2. Mark obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. McNasty takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A shot to the liver by Mark. Beautiful body shot. McNasty takes a shot right to the bread basket. McNasty closes the distance and clinches. Mark tries to break the clinch but McNasty is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marky Mark dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mark fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Mark swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McNasty looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Mark connects with a nice looking jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mark lands with a slapping head kick. Mark misses with a low kick as McNasty jumps back. Mark lands with a shot to the body. Mark stuns McNasty with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Mark throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McNasty moves into the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mark. Mark has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McNasty misses with a hook from the clinch. Mark throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Mark manages to break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. McNasty feints and then cracks Mark's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mark down. McNasty slips a jab and a cross from Mark.

McNasty displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mark throws out the jab. Mark throws a leg kick and McNasty counters with a straight punch to the midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! Mark fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
As Mark backs away, McNasty returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Mark swings widly with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Mark thuds his shin into the meat of McNasty's side. Mark throws a shot to the body.

and McNasty counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. McNasty takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
McNasty throws out a loose jab but Mark uses good head movement to avoid it. McNasty throws a leg kick that is checked enabling Mark to counter with a crisp jab. A jab lands there for Mark. McNasty fails to land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mark misses with the body kick and McNasty connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mark throws the kick towards the body but McNasty avoids it. McNasty seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. McNasty throws a solid leg kick but Mark takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McNasty. A head kick from Mark lands but McNasty takes it in his stride. McNasty takes a swing at Mark's ribcage but misses. Nice defenses there by McNasty. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mark misses with a left hand and McNasty counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by McNasty. McNasty blocks an uppercut.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marky Mark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

McNasty loads up on a big right hand but Mark slips the punch. McNasty moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromMark. McNasty walks into a jab. McNasty takes a shot to the body in his stride.

McNasty tries to catch it but that hurt him. Mark scores with a hook to the body. McNasty takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mark fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Mark tries to land a front kick but McNasty steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. McNasty appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Mark throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McNasty. Mark moves into range and connects with a jab. Mark throws a quick inside leg kick. Mark misses the shot to the body.

This has been an exciting period of action! McNasty avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A bone on bone clash there as Mark blocks the leg kick.

A swing and a miss from Mark. It looked like McNasty was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mark.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mark connects with an inside leg kick. Mark pushing out the jab but it's not landing. McNasty was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Mark throws a poor cross that misses
and McNasty counters with a stiff right hand. McNasty clinches. Mark pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mark throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McNasty counters with a lovely shot to the body. Mark throws a shot from downtown. McNasty moves away and avoids it. Mark takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Mark throws out a loose jab but McNasty uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mark is looking to land body kicks. Mark will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
As Mark backs away, McNasty returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Donk. Mark catches McNasty right on the button with a cross. McNasty avoids the body shot from Mark.
A jab from Mark misses. It looked like McNasty wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Mister McNasty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mark looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Marky Mark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mark has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Marky Mark! A very excited looking Marky Mark rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
