The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dmitrievich misses with a wild body shot.
Zaidi wants to counter the offense by Dmitrievich and move into the clinch position.
Dmitrievich throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zaidi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zaidi shapes to counter with a head kick.
Dmitrievich misses with a left hand
and Zaidi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zaidi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

It looks like Ivashin Dmitrievich has been cut.
Zaidi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Oh Dmitrievich is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zaidi postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Dmitrievich badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Zaidi around the waist but Zaidi pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Zaidi is the winner by TKO! Zaidi jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
