2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Krzysztof Piszka! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McStoner lands a nice shot to the body.
McStoner throws a shot from downtown. Piszka moves away and avoids it. Piszka changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. McStoner throws a shot from downtown. Piszka moves away and avoids it. And Piszka tries to counter it with a takedown but McStoner pushes his down on his head and steps out. McStoner connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A jab lands there for McStoner. McStoner lands a nice shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Piszka fails with the takedown and McStoner counters with a left to the body. Duke McStoner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from McStoner misses the target. Piszka drops down looking to force a counter takedown but McStoner defends it well. McStoner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Piszka on the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McStoner connects with a body shot. Piszka has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Piszka there as he acknowledges the shot. Piszka gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. McStoner cracks Piszka with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Piszka gets cracked there but stands up to it.
McStoner takes a swing at Piszka's ribcage but misses. And Piszka tries to counter it with a takedown but McStoner pushes his down on his head and steps out. Piszka with a lazy takedown attempt and McStoner counters with a nice uppercut. McStoner is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Piszka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and McStoner counters with a stiff right hand. Duke McStoner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krzysztof Piszka. Piszka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Piszka with a poor takedown and McStoner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. McStoner lands with an uppercut that bounces Piszka off the cage and back into range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Piszka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McStoner. McStoner is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Piszka is trying hard to land a takedown here. McStoner sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. McStoner appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. McStoner misses with a left hand and Piszka counters with a nice double leg into side control. McStoner won't be happy with that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Piszka fails with a takedown attempt. McStoner throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Piszka blocks a jab. Piszka on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. and Piszka counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. McStoner is looking for a sweep. Piszka is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Piszka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Piszka throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. McStoner is looking to control Piszka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McStoner avoid being mounted? Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Piszka in particular looking to stall. Piszka thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McStoner's head. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Piszka lands a nice short elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piszka is taking a breather. McStoner says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. McStoner is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at LOD London BALLS OF STEEL, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Piszka not landing any meaningful shots this time. McStoner blocking the ground and pound attempt from Piszka. Piszka is figuring out what he wants to do next. Piszka is continuing to stall. Piszka missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Piszka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McStoner defends it nicely. A little feinted left hand from McStoner on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Piszka with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McStoner to score with a decent uppercut. McStoner lands a really nice looking cross but Piszka seems unphased.

Piszka is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. McStoner digs a good body shot into Piszka's ribs. McStoner lands a lovely overhand right. McStoner scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. McStoner lands with a right hand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Piszka ducks under a wild hook from McStoner. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Piszka working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. McStoner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Piszka on the ground. Piszka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Piszka scoring with punches to the head and body. Piszka sitting in guard here, content to control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Piszka postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Piszka throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McStoner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McStoner throws out a powerful jab. Piszka slips a jab from McStoner. Piszka tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Piszka walks into a stiff left hand from McStoner. Piszka moves forwards but McStoner connects with a nice, crisp jab. McStoner misses with an uppercut
and Piszka counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Piszka. McStoner not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McStoner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Piszka is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Piszka content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. McStoner looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Piszka looking to pass the guard. Piszka engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Piszka throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. McStoner fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. McStoner gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. McStoner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McStoner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Krzysztof Piszka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think McStoner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
