Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Venom Killer (ranked 5976 p4p, 575 weight class) and Bukoros Tearu (ranked 3964 p4p, 479 weight class). Killer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Body to the Head!. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Venom Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bukoros Tearu!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tearu dives in and grabs Killer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Killer pushes down on Tearu's head and hops out.
Killer jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Bukoros Tearu has been cut.
Killer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tearu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Killer to score with a decent uppercut.
Tearu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Killer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Killer on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Killer is not content to let Tearu control the position.
Killer is trying to control Tearu's posture but Tearu avoids it.
Killer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Killer tries to get out of the position.
Killer parries the strikes from Tearu easily there. Tearu is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Killer to escape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Killer is trying to improve his position.
My spies in Cozad MMA St Petersburg inform me that Tearu has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Tearu looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Tearu tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Tearu cracks Killer with a big right hand but Killer just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Killer is looking to reverse the position.
Tearu throws an elbow but Killer slips to the side and avoids it well.

Tearu connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Killer some visible discomfort.
Killer is looking for a sweep.

Killer on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Tearu lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Tearu wants to control but Killer is keeping him busy.
Killer is trying to improve his position.
You can see the frustration on Killer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Killer takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Tearu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Killer keeps working.
Tearu lands an elbow.
Killer is looking to reverse the position.
Tearu scores with a couple of short elbows.
Killer struggling a bit here.
Tearu cracks Killer with a big right hand but Killer just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ground and pound from Tearu seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Tearu remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Tearu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Killer down.
Killer is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Killer is trying to control Tearu's posture but Tearu avoids it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tearu is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Killer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bukoros Tearu dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bukoros Tearu's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Killer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tearu shoots in but Killer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tearu shoots in but no luck this time.
Killer looks to land a combination but Tearu avoids it well.
Tearu shoots in for a takedown but Killer shows good takedown defense.
Venom Killer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bukoros Tearu.
Tearu darts in looking for a takedown but Killer gets double underhooks and turns Tearu into the cage.
Tearu takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tearu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tearu takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Killer lands a lovely overhand right.
Tearu is breathing heavily.
Killer lands a big uppercut and Tearu crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tearu looks OK. Killer waves Tearu back to his feet!
Tearu is rocked!
Bukoros Tearu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Killer darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Tearu's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Killer before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Venom Killer!
Venom Killer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
