Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Otorboater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichnig Reedin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ichnig Reedin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Otorboater! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichnig Reedin! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reedin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Otorboater throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reedin sees it coming and avoids it easily. Otorboater will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Otorboater swinging wilding here.
Reedin clinches. Reedin has Otorboater pushed against the cage. Otorboater lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Otorboater can't get the takedown.
Reedin wants to stall.
Otorboater has Reedin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Reedin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Otorboater. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reedin taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Reedin wants the takedown. Otorboater is fighting it off but Reedin persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Otorboater's guard against the cage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Reedin postures up in Otorboater's guard and throws a big left but Otorboater blocks it. Otorboater keeping moving, preventing Reedin from controlling successfully. Otorboater throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Otorboater working for a triangle but Reedin defends it easily.
Otorboater working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reedin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reedin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Reedin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Otorboater is trying to control the position but Reedin postures up. Reedin wants to pass the guard but Otorboater is keeping the position. Otorboater manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reedin manages to get himself to full guard.
Reedin looking for a guillotine here but Otorboater defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Reedin pulls Otorboater in close to prevent any damage. Reedin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Otorboater doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Otorboater manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Reedin wants to sweep here but Otorboater controlling him for the moment. Otorboater thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Reedin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Reedin looks gassed! Otorboater wants to control from the top but Reedin keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Otorboater is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Otorboater drops back looking for a leg! Reedin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reedin manages to kick Otorboater off! Otorboater jumps back into Reedin's guard. Reedin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Otorboater drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Otorboater jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Otorboater postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Otorboater wants to control from the top but Reedin keeps moving. Reedin striking off his back but it's not causing Otorboater any problems. Otorboater avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Reedin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Otorboater gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Reedin is looking for a triangle but Otorboater pushes his legs off easily.
Otorboater controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Otorboater thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ichnig Reedin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Otorboater swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Reedin moves out of range of the strikes. Reedin missing with a left hand there. Otorboater was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Otorboater slips a jab and a cross from Reedin.
Reedin tries to clinch but Otorboater is having none of it. Otorboater is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reedin. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reedin throws a hook but Otorboater avoids it easily. Otorboater displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Reedin throws out the jab. Reedin slips under a jab from Otorboater. Jab, jab by Reedin - just one landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reedin misses with a head kick.
Reedin gets the takedown into side control. Reedin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Reedin is breathing heavily. Reedin happy to just control the position for now. Otorboater manages to get back to half guard. Reedin looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Reedin is looking for a kimura but Otorboater is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Reedin to get the leverage. Otorboater has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Reedin. Oh but Otorboater has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Reedin goes limp - he's gone! Otorboater jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
