PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grumpy Bastard (ranked 2820 p4p, 234 weight class) and Mamadou Yered (ranked 3187 p4p, 264 weight class). Grumpy Bastard looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yered throws a lazy right hand but Bastard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bastard appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Bastard shoots in looking for a takedown. Yered tries to sprawl out of it but Bastard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yered manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Grumpy Bastard will probably get the nod.
