Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vince Masuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boom Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masuka shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Masuka showed some decent athleticism there.
Still in half guard, Masuka seems content to control.
Masuka's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boom has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Masuka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Masuka is trying to trip Boom. He has hold of a leg but Boom is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Masuka persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Masuka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boom swivels though and keeps the full guard.
