Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danial Webster (ranked 23794 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Jomaro (ranked 7664 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danial Webster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oleg Jomaro!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jomaro manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Webster on his heels. He'll look to pass Webster's guard now, I'm sure.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Jomaro has eaten all the pies!
Jomaro is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Webster pulls Jomaro in to control the position.
Jomaro engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jomaro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Webster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jomaro has managed to get both his arms back between Webster's legs - danger averted.
Jomaro slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jomaro's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Webster really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jomaro is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Webster's shoulder. That is not cool.
Let's hope that Jomaro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like Jomaro might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Webster is looking for a sweep.
The referee asks Jomaro politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jomaro prefers to stall for the moment though.

Webster is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jomaro off and has taken his back!

A close second round but Oleg Jomaro will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Jomaro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Webster had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jomaro defends it easily.

Jomaro changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Webster looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jomaro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Webster keeps working.
Webster is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jomaro has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Jomaro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Webster is trying to defend but Jomaro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well Jomaro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
