Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Police Officer (ranked 6538 p4p, 542 weight class) and Michael Blake (ranked 4571 p4p, 432 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 6 losses; Police Officer! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 29 wins and 8 losses; Michael Blake! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blake is defended easily by Officer. Blake tries to keep at a distance but Officer has taken the fight into the clinch. Officer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Blake pulls his leg out and moves away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Blake or perhaps it was just good defense by Officer, which made it look bad. Officer closes the distance and pushes Blake back into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blake is defending well against a takedown attempt. Officer is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Police Officer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Officer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap!
