Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sidney Chang (ranked 5444 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fighter Three (ranked 25187 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter Three looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fighter Three!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Three closes the distance and clinches up with Chang, looking for a takedown. Three pushes Chang against the cage but Chang circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chang could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Three looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chang is fending him off so far but Three persists. Nope, Chang circles away and we're back to standing.
Chang swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Three throws a head kick but Chang moves out of range.

Three shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chang sprawls well. Chang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Three gets slowly back to his feet.

Chang seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Three for as long as he can get away with.

Chang is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
