The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doolittle looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Brophy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Doolittle.
Doolittle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brophy sprawls well. Brophy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Doolittle gets slowly back to his feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brophy.
Doolittle takes one on the button.
It looks like Doctor Doolittle has been cut.
Brophy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brophy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brophy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Doolittle's coach down at Pablo's Boxing Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Doolittle's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Doolittle misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Brophy.
Brophy throws a jab when Doolittle was well out of range.

Doolittle misses with a hook.
Brophy throws a quick counter kick to the body but Doolittle avoids it.
Doolittle swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Doolittle throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Doolittle throws a lazy head kick
and Brophy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Doolittle rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brophy counters with a right hand to the body.
Doolittle throws a lazy head kick
enabling Brophy to counter with a crisp jab.
Doolittle misses with a left hand
and Brophy counters with a crisp right hand that drops Doolittle! Brophy lets Doolittle back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Doolittle is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brophy scores with a shot to the body.
Doolittle is still on wobbly legs! Can Brophy finish him?
Doctor Doolittle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doolittle looks winded!
Brophy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Brophy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Doolittle stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Doolittle takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Brophy is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Doolittle flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Doolittle is out cold! Brophy holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
