Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fletch Brandis (ranked 1873 p4p, 218 weight class) and Aniceto Platanares (ranked 4367 p4p, 424 weight class). Brandis's entrance music is Voodoo. A fine choice. Platanares has chosen Las Piedras Rodantes (El Tri de Mejico) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Aniceto Platanares will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aniceto Platanares! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Platanares shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Brandis tries to get to full guard but Platanares has control of the leg. Brandis trying to hold on to Platanares's head to control him but Platanares postures up.
Platanares throws a strike but Brandis avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Brandis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Platanares can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Our winner, Fletch Brandis, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. In defeat, Aniceto Platanares stepped up to the mic, saying 'I had an injured rectum so wasn't 100% for this fight. I'll be back stronger'.
