Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sten pushes Baird up against the cage in a clinch.

Baird throws a head punch that misses.
Sten blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sten pulls guard successfully.
Baird postures up in Sten's guard and throws a big left but Sten blocks it.
Baird throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sten works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sten had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Baird defends it easily.
Sten manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baird manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sten wants to control from the top but Baird keeps moving.
Baird really is a fat lump.

Baird bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sten's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Baird accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baird with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Sten decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Sten moves into range and clinches up with Baird.
A head punch on the inside from Baird fails to land.
Sten lands a knee to the body.
Sten's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sten scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Baird kicks Sten off and gets back to his feet.
Baird is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sten scores with a three punch combo!
Moises Baird's cut is getting worse.
Baird misses with a takedown attempt
and Sten counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sten drops Baird with a left right combo! Sten follows him down to the ground into side control.
Baird is rocked!
Baird looks to move to half guard but instead Sten has passed into mount! Damn!
Oh Baird is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baird takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Baird avoids a series of strikes thrown by Sten.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Baird is working to get back to half guard.
Sten lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sten with good strikes from the mount here!
Sten prevents Baird from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sten lands a heavy elbow.
Sten takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Sten postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Baird looks a forlorn figure.
Baird can't escape the position.
Sten throws some wild stikes that Baird manages to avoid easily.
Sten unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Baird wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Sten celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
