4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Johnson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Johnson stops Anthony from getting back to his feet.
Johnson slips a nice elbow through Anthony's hands, connecting with Anthony's forehead. Johnson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Anthony flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Johnson lands strikes from half guard. Johnson thows a huge punch but Anthony dodges it nicely.
Anthony is trying to stand back up but Johnson is controlling him
Anthony has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Johnson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anthony. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anthony trying to control here.
Anthony might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Johnson is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Anthony is hurt! He's hurt bad - Johnson fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Anthony from any more punishment! Congratulations to Johnson! Great finish!
