The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steelers lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Shiroo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Shiroo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Steelers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Shiroo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Steelers throws an elbow but it misses.

Shiroo seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Shiroo is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Jumping up and down and very excited, Pittsburgh Steelers waved his t-shirt featuring Fatty's 's logo in front of the cameras.
Tetsuya Shiroo spoke after the fight, saying 'I was prepared to die in this cage tonight. The opponent was the better man today but I will be back stronger.'.
