Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Riley Abbott (ranked 25178 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Dias (ranked 5253 p4p, 0 weight class). Dias has chosen All Eyez On Me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Riley Abbott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bruno Dias! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dias looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Abbott darts in and clinches Dias up against the cage. Abbott wants to take the fight to the mat but Dias manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Abbott has picked Dias up - he's going for a ride! Abbott dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Dias pushes Abbott off but Abbott dives into side control.
Dias bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Abbott circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Abbott scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dias doesn't seem bothered though. Abbott gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Abbott is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dias gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Dias looking to stall.
Abbott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Abbott with a body punch. A glancing blow. Abbott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dias is fending him off so far but Abbott persists. Nope, Dias circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Riley Abbott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dias tries to keep at a distance but Abbott has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dias misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Abbott.
Abbott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Abbott darts in looking for a takedown but Dias gets double underhooks and turns Abbott into the cage. Dias tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Bruno Dias is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Abbott rushes Dias and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dias is trying to break the clinch but Abbott is controlling him. Abbott keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dias's efforts to push away. Dias looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dias tries a knee to the head but Abbott blocks it.
Abbott tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dias just stands there and leans against the cage. Abbott tries for a takedown. No joy.
Abbott keeps control of Dias as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Abbott lands a takedown into guard.
Abbott will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Abbott throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dias works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Abbott stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dias tries to close the distance and clinch but Abbott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dias is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dias wants to clinch up but Abbott keeps it at a distance. Abbott is looking to counter the offense by Dias and move into the clinch. Some wild striking there from Abbott.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Abbott bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Riley Abbott dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Abbott shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dias as he jumps to the side. Dias is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Abbott misses with a hook. Dias ducked under it nicely. Abbott is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dias can do to turn this around? Dias looks to clinch and Abbott counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Abbott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dias sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abbott somewhat. Dias drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Abbott defends it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abbott looks for a takedown but Dias sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Riley Abbott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbott decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dias scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Abbott manages to mount him!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dias is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Abbott in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abbott goes for an armbar but Dias turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dias. Abbott really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dias wants to stand and escape but instead Abbott has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Abbott throws a big right hand that misses. Abbott is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dias is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dias has escaped and now he's on top! Dias throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abbott trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Dias stands up from guard. Let's bang! Riley Abbott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abbott jabs at Dias's body. Abbott is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Abbott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Abbott forces Dias back against the cage and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abbott lands a takedown into guard.
Dias is looking to stand up but Abbott isn't so interested in that idea. Abbott postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dias is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Abbott, into his guard.
Abbott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dias decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Abbott, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Riley Abbott will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Abbott throws a big right hand that misses. Riley Abbott overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Abbott thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Abbott won't allow Dias to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dias is working an open guard so Abbott takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Dias breaks the clinch.
Abbott misses the shot to the body. Excellent takedown into side control there by Abbott. Dias explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abbott misses with a takedown attempt - Dias sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Riley Abbott is winning the standup battle so far. A big right from Abbott misses. Dias stuffs the takedown attempt from Abbott. Abbott gets slowly back to his feet. Dias drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Abbott defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dias throws a lazy right hand but Abbott sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Abbott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Dias is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Bruno Dias has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Abbott misses with a hook. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Abbott lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Riley Abbott is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Abbott fails with the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! Riley Abbott showed his dominance in that final round. Well Abbott has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
