Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Grundmann!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey Mcgraugh!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgraugh gets tackled into the ropes by Grundmann. Grundmann maintains the clinch.
Grundmann definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Grundmann throws a punch but it's blocked by Mcgraugh.
Grundmann throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Grundmann has had enough of the clinch but Mcgraugh keeps him there for the moment.

Grundmann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Grundmann drives through and clinches with Mcgraugh against the ropes.
Mcgraugh holding his opponent close, against the ropes.
Grundmann is trying to force a seperation but Mcgraugh has the dominant position.
A right handed body shot lands from Mcgraugh.
Grundmann tries to circle away but Mcgraugh has him pinned against the ropes.
Grundmann using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mcgraugh has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Grundmann tries to stall but Mcgraugh uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Mcgraugh.
Mcgraugh scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Grundmann wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mcgraugh has him pressed against the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A right hook to the body lands for Mcgraugh.
A nice left hand lands by Mcgraugh.
Mcgraugh lands a left hand that snaps the head of Grundmann backwards.
Grundmann has had enough of the clinch but Mcgraugh keeps him there for the moment.
Mcgraugh lands a right hand that snaps the head of Grundmann backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grundmann pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Grundmann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcgraugh, pushing him back against the ropes.

Mcgraugh lands a right hand.
Mcgraugh lands a left hand that snaps the head of Grundmann backwards.
Grundmann throws a knee to the head but misses.
Grundmann's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Grundmann has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Mcgraugh softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Grundmann is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mcgraugh is keeping busy.
Mcgraugh lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Grundmann.
Grundmann is breathing heavily.
Mcgraugh lands a left hand that snaps the head of Grundmann backwards.
Grundmann wants to get back to striking at distance but Mcgraugh won't allow it.
A right handed body shot lands from Mcgraugh.

Mcgraugh lands a left hand.
Mcgraugh lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Grundmann or not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcgraugh throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Mcgraugh is leaning against Grundmann and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Mcgraugh effectively controlling the action here.

Oh Grundmann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mcgraugh lands a hook to the side of the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Mcgraugh.
Grundmann looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Good body shot from Mcgraugh.
Nice body punch from Mcgraugh - that landed with a thud.
Mcgraugh cracks Grundmann with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Grundmann goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Grundmann wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
