Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jomaro closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Barrera quickly recovers to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Jomaro seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Barrera for as long as he can get away with.
Barrera is looking to stand up but Jomaro isn't so interested in that idea.

Jomaro is rocked!
Barrera jerks Jomaro's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Jomaro drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Barrera goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Barrera because Jomaro was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
