The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Davis controls from within his opponent's guard.
Rampage preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Davis controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rampage lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis has his foot on Rampage's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rampage works his way back into a safe position though.
Rampage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground.

Rampage is posturing up here but Davis has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rampage tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rampage has to tap! Slick submission there by Davis!

A relieved looking Hector Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
