Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marco Guerrieri! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guerrieri gets caught flat footed, as Snow shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Snow working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Guerrieri's head. Guerrieri wants to sweep but no luck. Snow will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Snow throws a big elbow that misses. Guerrieri avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Snow wants to get up but he can't break Guerrieri's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Guerrieri has momentary wrist control but Snow slips an elbow through the middle. Guerrieri is looking for a triangle but Snow pushes his legs off easily.
Snow is looking to work some ground and pound but Guerrieri has wrist control. Guerrieri is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snow landing with the ground and pound. Guerrieri avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Snow working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Guerrieri's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerrieri lands a decent punch to the body there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Snow's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Guerrieri seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Snow trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Snow scoring with punches to the head and body. Snow working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Snow in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Snow keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Guerrieri's head. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Guerrieri is on top in guard.
Guerrieri gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Snow scores with a one two! Guerrieri had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Guerrieri defends it nicely. The crowd cheers as Snow lands an impressive looking overhand right. Guerrieri doesn't seem phased though. Snow avoids a punch combination nicely.
Guerrieri closes the distance but Snow moves to the side and Snow counters with a three punch combo that has Guerrieri backing up. Guerrieri nods at Snow to acknowledge the strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Snow darts in looking for a takedown but Guerrieri gets double underhooks and turns Snow into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guerrieri misses with a double jab.
Snow throws a big counter combination but Guerrieri scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Guerrieri is looking to clinch but Snow is avoiding it.
Sloppy strikes from Guerrieri. Those never looked like landing. Snow throws a big counter combination but Guerrieri scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Snow tries for a takedown but Guerrieri sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eli Snow. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Guerrieri as Snow shoots in. Guerrieri throws an overhand right that lands on Snow's shoulder, as Snow tries to avoid the shot. Snow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Guerrieri misses with a left hand and Snow counters with a straight right hand. Snow shoots for a double leg takedown but Guerrieri sprawls well. He's pushed Snow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Snow is breathing heavily. Guerrieri moves out of range of the body kick from Snow.
Snow shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guerrieri's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guerrieri bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Snow's guard. Guerrieri is in close to Snow's body, working some short punches and elbows. Guerrieri wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving. Snow trying to keep a closed guard but Guerrieri is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Guerrieri stands up from guard. Let's bang! Guerrieri clinches up with Snow and pushes him back against the cage. Snow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snow shoots in for a takedown but Guerrieri shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Guerrieri throws a head kick but Snow moves out of range.
Guerrieri throws a right and a left that both miss. Snow is looking to counter with a body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Eli Snow will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Guerrieri has taken the fight to the clinch.

Snow fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Despite the aggression on Guerrieri's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Nice defenses there by Snow. Guerrieri is looking to clinch but Snow is avoiding it.
Guerrieri slaps away a takedown attempt from Snow, before circling back to the center of the mat. Guerrieri appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Guerrieri lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Snow is rocked!
It looks like Eli Snow has been cut. Snow darts in looking for a takedown but Guerrieri gets double underhooks and turns Snow into the cage. Guerrieri is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Oh Snow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eli Snow. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snow shoots in but no luck this time. Guerrieri clinches with his opponent.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Guerrieri breaks the clinch.
Guerrieri closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Snow out cold! Snow corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
