Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Brewer (ranked 3139 p4p, 321 weight class) and Hello Bay (ranked 2128 p4p, 238 weight class). Brewer comes to the cage accompanied by Gangster's Paradise. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 19 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Brewer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hello Bay! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bay closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Brewer quickly recovers to half guard. Bay seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brewer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bay is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Bay is just content to waste time from the top position. Brewer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Bay content to stall in guard here. Brewer is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Bay working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brewer keeping full guard, as Bay tries to pass. Bay being controlled here momentarily. Bay trying to control the position from guard on top but Brewer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brewer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bay might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brewer haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bay stays in close to Brewer's body and controls the position. Bay forces his way into half guard. Still in half guard, Bay seems content to control. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bay lands a nice short elbow. Bay throwing shots but Brewer is blocking nicely. Bay is taking a breather. Brewer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Brewer wants to improve his position but Bay is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bay is looking to take a break and control but Brewer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bay seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Brewer is in trouble now - Bay has advanced to mount! Brewer keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Brewer is squirming around, avoiding Bay's attempts to control the action. Brewer wants to control but Bay is having none of it. Brewer is looking to improve his position but Bay isn't that keen on the idea. Bay looking to control but Brewer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bay tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bay throwing strikes here but Brewer is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bay is stalling here but it's allowed Brewer to get half guard.
Brewer works his way to full guard. Good work. Brewer keeping full guard, as Bay tries to pass. Brewer keeping moving, preventing Bay from controlling successfully. Bay postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bay looking to sit in guard and control but Brewer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bay manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brewer cracks Bay with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Bay swats away the attempt to clinch by Brewer. Bay throws a series of punches but Brewer avoids them all with ease. Bay throws a combination that misses and Brewer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bay lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Frank Brewer has been cut. Bay takes the fight into the clinch. Brewer misses with a body punch.
A head punch on the inside from Bay fails to land. Bay tries to land knees in the clinch but Brewer avoids the damage to the body. Brewer lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Bay swings wildly with an uppercut but Brewer uses good head movement to avoid it. Bay misses with some punches.

Hello Bay dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Brewer's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bay shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brewer's guard. Brewer seems keen to control Bay's posture. Bay trying to control but Brewer is working from the bottom. Bay scoring with some ground and pound. Bay postures up in Brewer's guard and throws a big left but Brewer blocks it. Bay trying to control but Brewer is working from the bottom. Bay throws a strike but Brewer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Brewer tries to free his leg and advance position but Bay is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bay wants to stand but Brewer is controlling the position. Brewer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brewer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Brewer prevents Bay from escaping the position. Brewer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bay looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Brewer thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bay if he has to take too many more of those.
Bay fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brewer avoids it really well and circles away. Bay is breathing heavily. Bay doesn't succeed with the takedown and Brewer counters with a nice uppercut. Frank Brewer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hello Bay. A chopping leg kick lands by Brewer. Brewer dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Brewer lands a really nice looking cross but Bay seems unphased.
Hello Bay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brewer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bay takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Brewer throws out a powerful jab. Bay ducks right into an uppercut from Brewer. Brewer with a jab. Brewer with a nice cross. Bay throws a right and a left that Brewer avoids nicely. Brewer half committed to a counter leg kick. Bay misses with a double jab.
Frank Brewer is winning the standup battle so far. Bay throws a right hand that Brewer ducks under and follows up with a left that Brewer also avoids with ease. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Brewer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Brewer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Brewer thuds a left hand into Bay's body. Brewer pushes Bay away with a front kick. Brewer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Brewer cracks Bay with an open hand slap. Brewer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Brewer scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brewer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brewer showed some decent athleticism there. Brewer trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brewer tries to pass to full mount but Bay defends it. Brewer not doing much here.
Brewer stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bay tries for a takedown but Brewer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bay throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bay takes a punch right to his stomach. Bay chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Brewer can pounce on him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brewer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Brewer cracks a nice hook into Bay's ribs. Brewer lands a glancing blow to the side of Bay's head. A nice leg kick lands there from Brewer. Brewer lands a jab to Bay's midsection. Bay takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brewer dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Brewer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brewer scores with a decent looking hook. Bay takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Brewer slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Brewer lands with a shot to the body. Brewer throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Bay darts in looking for a takedown but Brewer gets double underhooks and turns Bay into the cage. Bay on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Brewer lands a big right hand that sends Bay crashing to the mat! Brewer stays standing though and waves Bay back to his feet! Hello Bay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brewer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A decent looking cross lands there for Brewer. Bay doesn't manage to clinch there - Brewer circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A left hand lands to the body for Brewer.

Brewer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Brewer creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Bay's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Bay drops to his knees and Brewer pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
