PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Rogan (ranked 1960 p4p, 96 weight class) and Daniel Brand (ranked 4543 p4p, 192 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brand misses the shot to the body.

Brand has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Rogan is on him like a limpet, forcing Brand back against the cage.
Brand has had enough of the clinch but Rogan keeps him there for the moment.

Rogan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rogan manages to end up in side control.
Brand wants to get back to his feet but Rogan is dominant here and he's now got Brand's back!
Brand is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Rogan off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Rogan is trying to trip Brand. He has hold of a leg but Brand is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rogan persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Brand lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Rogan sprawling to the canvas. Brand follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Rogan hang on?

Rogan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brand pulls his head out easily.

Brand circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Rogan to the canvas! Rogan doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Brand keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
