Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Warner (ranked 23346 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Goldenhawk (ranked 2849 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldenhawk has chosen Suicidal Thoughts by Biggie as his entrance music. Lance Goldenhawk looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lance Goldenhawk! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goldenhawk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Warner swats him away and circles back towards the center. Warner is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Goldenhawk drives through with a takedown into Warner's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Warner scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Warner really is a fat lump. Goldenhawk throws a head kick but Warner moves out of range.
Goldenhawk tries to clinch up. Goldenhawk fails in his attempt to clinch. Goldenhawk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Goldenhawk trying to control the position but instead, Warner has worked for underhooks and has pushed Goldenhawk into the cage. Knees in the clinch landing for Warner.
Goldenhawk has Warner pressed against the cage, preventing Warner from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Goldenhawk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Warner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Warner showed some decent athleticism there. Warner postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Goldenhawk to stand up. Warner gets a double leg takedown into Goldenhawk's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lance Goldenhawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Warner pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Warner closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Goldenhawk did well to prevent Warner getting side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Warner scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Warner lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Warner working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warner escapes and gets back to his feet. Warner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Goldenhawk looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Goldenhawk manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Warner on his heels. He'll look to pass Warner's guard now, I'm sure. Warner pushes Goldenhawk off and scrambles back to his feet.
Warner drives through with a takedown into guard. Goldenhawk thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Warner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Goldenhawk, up you get! Warner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goldenhawk moves away. Goldenhawk tries to counter by closing the distance. Warner keeps the fight on the outside. Warner scores with a takedown into Goldenhawk's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warner scoring with punches to the head and body. Goldenhawk can't keep his opponent in guard - Warner advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Warner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Goldenhawk is just riding it out for now. Warner eventually gives up the hold. Goldenhawk has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Warner is working away from the top position though. Warner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Goldenhawk doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Warner. Warner stands up out of the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Goldenhawk looking to score a takedown here. Warner is defending well but Goldenhawk drives through and ends up in Warner's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Warner manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Warner manages to break the clinch.

Warner tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Goldenhawk manages to circle out of the way. Warner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Warner showed some decent athleticism there. This has been an exciting period of action! Warner drops an elbow to the side of Goldenhawk's head. Goldenhawk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Warner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Goldenhawk pushes Warner off looking to stand but Warner dives back in and keeps control.
Warner escapes and gets back to his feet. Goldenhawk gets a double leg takedown into Warner's guard. Warner scrambles and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Warner dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Warner shoots in looking for a takedown. Goldenhawk tries to sprawl out of it but Warner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goldenhawk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Warner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Goldenhawk can do to turn this around? Goldenhawk scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Eric Warner has been cut. Goldenhawk gets a double leg takedown into Warner's guard. Warner has his feet on Goldenhawk's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Goldenhawk is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Warner's half guard. Warner manages to escape and get back to his feet! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Warner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Warner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Warner stands up from guard. Let's bang! Warner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Warner content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Goldenhawk is trying to maintain the position but Warner is very close to passing his half guard. Warner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Goldenhawk tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Warner is in Goldenhawk's guard. He pushes Goldenhawk off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Goldenhawk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Warner fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Goldenhawk sprawls well initially but Warner persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Warner is thwarting Goldenhawk's attempts to control the position. Warner is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Warner's head. Goldenhawk looks to land a strike but Warner avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Warner throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Warner! Warner throws Goldenhawk to one side and escapes! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Warner looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Warner stands up and beckons Goldenhawk to join him on the feet. Warner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Goldenhawk!

Warner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Warner wants to work for an arm triangle but Goldenhawk is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Warner gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Goldenhawk throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Warner was covering up waiting for the punch and Goldenhawk finishes the takedown easily into guard. Warner is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Goldenhawk tries to kick Warner off but Warner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Warner lands with a punch from half guard. Warner stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Goldenhawk throws a lazy head kick and Warner counters with a single leg into guard. Goldenhawk didn't expect that. Goldenhawk controls Warner momentarily but Warner frees himself. Warner is working Goldenhawk over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Warner stands up from guard. Let's bang! Warner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Goldenhawk to the mat! Goldenhawk manages to get full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Warner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Warner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
