Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Debrine (ranked 3053 p4p, 418 weight class) and Adolfo Fernando (ranked 1787 p4p, 269 weight class). Debrine's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Best. Max Debrine had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adolfo Fernando! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fernando avoids the body shot from Debrine.
Debrine instigates a clinch. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Fernando creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Fernando lands an uppercut. Both guys are working to get underhooks. A short left from Fernando. Fernando blocks an elbow strike from Debrine.

Fernando breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Debrine tries to clinch and Fernando counters with a lovely shot to the body. Fernando has closed the distance and engaged Debrine in a clinch.
Debrine looks to throw an elbow but misses. Fernando cracks Debrine with a nice body shot. Fernando scores with a shot to the side of Debrine's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fernando breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fernando lands a big head kick that sends Debrine tumbling to the mat! Fernando takes a step backwards and waves Debrine back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Max Debrine has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernando ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The fight moves into the clinch position. Debrine trying to land knees to the body.
Fernando lands a nice shot to the body. Fernando has a couple of punches blocked by Debrine.

Fernando's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Debrine tries to clinch up but Fernando circles away and keeps his distance. Fernando moves into the clinch. Fernando manages to break the clinch.
Debrine swings and misses with a shot to the body and Fernando cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Debrine clinches up with Fernando and pushes him back against the ropes. Debrine breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Debrine looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fernando is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Debrine throws a hook but Fernando blocks it. Fernando moves away from the strike by Debrine. Debrine throws a hook to the side of Fernando's head but Fernando sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Adolfo Fernando is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fernando darts in and clinches Debrine up against the ropes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fernando breaks the clinch.

and Fernando cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Fernando steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Debrine. Fernando lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Fernando closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fernando working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Debrine is trying to pull guard but Fernando has him pressed against the ropes. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Debrine just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fernando's brow. Debrine blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Fernando is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Debrine obliges. Fernando lands on the inside with an uppercut. Debrine fails to pull guard.

Debrine takes a shot to the head. Fernando keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Debrine's efforts to push away. Debrine pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Fernando pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Debrine is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Fernando's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Fernando has managed to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fernando misses with a hook from the clinch. Fernando's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Debrine looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Debrine tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fernando avoids it. Debrine wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fernando has him pressed against the ropes. Fernando scores with a shoulder strike. Fernando on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Debrine misses with a short punch on the inside. Fernando lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Debrine looks to throw an elbow but misses. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Fernando creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Fernando breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adolfo Fernando dominated that round. The cut man is working on Max Debrine's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Fernando pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fernando throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Debrine throws a right hand that misses
and Fernando counters with a straight that turns Debrine's legs to rubber! Fernando pushes forward with more strikes and Debrine goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adolfo Fernando! After the fight, Adolfo Fernando was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. The defeated Max Debrine had this to say: 'Sorry dudes'.
