The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sanders to the mat! Sanders manages to get full guard.
Wilson tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanders is retaining full guard.
Wilson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Sanders keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully.
Wilson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Wilson happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wilson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sanders, who protects the arm well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Wilson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wilson is looking to take a break and control but Sanders is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sanders wants to control but Wilson postures up.
Sanders is letting Wilson control him for a moment.
Wilson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanders keeps working.
Sanders knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.

Wilson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sanders some visible discomfort.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sanders enables Wilson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sanders manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
