Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buckee Mcstucking (ranked 22467 p4p, 466 weight class) and Vojtech Neal (ranked 6178 p4p, 364 weight class). Buckee Mcstucking has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Buckee Mcstucking!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vojtech Neal!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neal feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Neal's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Neal postures up and lands a big shot to Mcstucking's brow.

Mcstucking is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Neal is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neal wants to control from the top but Mcstucking keeps moving.
Mcstucking definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mcstucking controls Neal momentarily but Neal frees himself.

Neal thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neal stays in close to Mcstucking's body and controls the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mcstucking looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Neal is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Neal wants to control from the top but Mcstucking keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neal controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Neal has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Neal trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcstucking is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Neal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mcstucking shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Neal defends it nicely.
Neal drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mcstucking defends it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
A jab from Mcstucking misses.

Neal darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mcstucking is refusing to be controlled, as Neal sits in half guard.
Mcstucking tries to kick Neal off but Neal keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Mcstucking tries to get to full guard but Neal has control of the leg.
Neal moves nicely into side control.
Mcstucking is not content to let Neal control the position.

Neal moves into full mount!
Neal takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
A nice elbow there by Neal.
Neal controlling his opponent.
Neal wants to control the pace but Mcstucking is squirming around nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neal wants to control the action but instead Mcstucking gets a body lock and reverses into Neal's guard! Nice work!
Neal lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Neal stays in close to Mcstucking's body and controls the position.
Neal wants to control from the top but Mcstucking keeps moving.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Neal is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Neal trying to control but Mcstucking is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vojtech Neal dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Mcstucking falls off balance throwing a combination

and Neal counters with a shoot takedown. Mcstucking fights it but they end up in guard.

Mcstucking wriggles free and stands up.

Mcstucking moves into the clinch.
Neal looking to stall.
Mcstucking can't find room to land a body shot as Neal controls the action.
Neal taking a breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Mcstucking lands a body punch.
Neal's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Mcstucking tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Mcstucking connects with a knee to the head.
Mcstucking drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Neal stalls.
Neal slows down the pace here.
Neal continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Vojtech Neal.
Mcstucking is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Buckee Mcstucking seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcstucking wants to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mcstucking doesn't manage to clinch there - Neal circles away.
Mcstucking tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And Neal tries to counter it with a takedown but Mcstucking pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Neal darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Neal is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mcstucking has managed to free his arm - good work.
Mcstucking wants to get back to his feet.
Mcstucking is looking for a sweep. Neal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Neal lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Neal trying to control the action but Mcstucking is working from the bottom.
Neal wants to pass to mount but Mcstucking is defending the position.

Mcstucking wants to control but Neal is keeping busy.
Mcstucking is trying to stand back up but Neal is controlling him
Neal looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Mcstucking is looking to control Neal's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mcstucking avoid being mounted?
Mcstucking wants to improve his position but Neal is controlling well.
Neal wants to pass the guard but Mcstucking is defending well.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neal moves into full mount! Mcstucking won't be happy about that!
Neal looking to control but Mcstucking is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Neal blocks Mcstucking's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Neal looking to control and managing it successfully.
Mcstucking is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neal trying to control but Mcstucking is having none of it.

Neal looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vojtech Neal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Neal shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Neal showed some decent athleticism there.
Mcstucking is refusing to be controlled, as Neal sits in half guard.

Neal is working for an americana but Mcstucking has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Neal was thinking about the submission.

Mcstucking sneaks out the side door and pushes Neal away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Nice sprawl there from Neal as Mcstucking shoots in.
Mcstucking is looking to clinch.
Mcstucking tries to clinch up but Neal circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck for Mcstucking with that takedown attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Mcstucking shoots in for a takedown but Neal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Neal has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Mcstucking is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buckee Mcstucking. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Neal looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Neal in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mcstucking tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Neal!
