Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Castro (ranked 5557 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Williams (ranked 6758 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dan Williams!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range.
Castro misses the jab.
Williams now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but Castro shows good takedown defense.
Williams dodges the punch combination from Castro.
As Castro backs off Williams throws a huge counter combo but Castro manages to avoid it all.
Williams closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Erik Castro has been cut.
Castro cracks Williams with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nice uppercut lands for Castro. That snapped Williams's head back.
Williams feints with a jab and clips Castro right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Castro is sent crashing into the canvas and Williams leaps in for the kill! Castro tries to get to his feet but Williams is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Castro is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Williams!
